Nominations to represent Professional Services Staff on the Council

Nominations are invited for one Professional Services staff member to serve as a representative on the Council from 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2022. The new member will replace Andrea Pulford, Director of Planning and Operations (Warwick Arts Centre), whose term of office expires on 31 July 2019.

On this occasion a nominee must be a member of Professional Services staff (employed on level 1 - 9 terms and conditions). The nomination must be proposed and seconded by a Professional Services staff member, with the consent of the nominee.

Nominations will be accepted from Monday 10 June 2019 to 11.59pm on Wednesday 19 June 2019.

To create a nomination, emails from the proposer and seconder clearly outlining the individual being nominated should be sent separately to the Council resource account at marked for the attention of Lara McCarthy, Head of Governance Services. The nominee is also required to send an email confirming their consent to be nominated and a supporting statement of no more than 300 words setting out why they wish to be elected to Council and their suitability for the role. Alternatively, the above can be submitted by internal post and addressed to Lara McCarthy, Head of Governance Services, University House.

If more than one nomination is received, an election by electronic ballot will be held during the period Friday 21 June 2019 to 11.59pm on Friday 5 July 2019. The supporting statements from each nominee will be published on the ballot webpage for the duration of the election. If an election is held, further information will be posted on Insite and emailed to all members of Professional Services staff on Friday 21 June 2019.
