Please note that the dates for the submission of draft papers have been brought forward by two days since the beginning of the academic year.

Senate Secretariats should inform the Senate Support Team whether or not they expect a report to be forwarded to the Senate and what time the draft and final versions can be expected.

Committee Secretariats are reminded to please ensure:

  • That unreserved agendas and minutes continue to be published by Secretariats on the relevant Governance web pages, as per usual practice.
  • That full sets of hard copy agendas, minutes and papers are forwarded: to the University Archive in the Modern Records Centre (open and reserved/restricted items), to Dawn Ellis in the Secretary to Council's Office for the University House Central File Store (open and reserved/restricted items, two hole-punched please). These should be sent concurrently with circulation to members of the committee before the meeting is held and should, where required in extremis, also include any second circulations or final approved papers, even if approved by Chair’s Action following the meeting.
  • That the Registrar’s Office receive a copy of agendas and minutes from all committees of the Senate when they are issued. It is suggested that the optimum means of achieving this is for Secretariats to include the Registrar at warwick dot ac dot uk within circulation of committee agendas and minutes. Copies of papers will be requested if they are needed.
