We provide a wide range of health and safety training for staff and students at the University. There is a programme of core H&S training and the available courses are listed below. These courses are designed to supplement and complement local departmental training.
Online training can be very useful when it is not possible to attend a course, we have produced those courses listed below for you to carry out in your own time. Some of these courses require you to submit a form or complete a questionnaire. At the end of an awarded courses will then send out a certificate of completion to you, others are available as self-learning or just as reading for information.

New- Asbestos register eLearning video demo module now available for Warwick staff
Good Asbestos management is a vital tool for ensuring that staff and contractors work safely and to assist with ensuring that this occurs the University has developed an online Asbestos Register to provide easy access to its asbestos survey information.
The register has been compiled from detailed surveys of all accessible spaces within the buildings (those constructed prior to the year 2000) where materials suspected of containing asbestos have been sampled and also the general construction of each space has been recorded.The register will need checking prior to carrying out work or instructing others to carry out work on our behalf.
New - Fire Safety Awareness eLearning Course
A new 15-minute interactive video, Fire Safety Awareness course has been developed to ensure the University of Warwick complies with the Fire Safety Legislation. The module includes fire prevention, actions upon hearing the fire alarm and how to summon security assistance. This course is available for all new and existing staff including postgraduate researchers. You can self-enrol, access and complete the course on Moodle.
