This workshop course is intended for individuals who must write Risk Assessment (RA), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) assessments. It is also important for Principle Investigators and other competent individuals who are required to approve the assessments, ensuring they are suitable and sufficient.

This introductory workshop covers the knowledge and understanding required to produce a suitable and sufficient; Risk Assessment (RA), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) assessments, in line with the HSE guidance and University requirements. The workshop is an intensive 2.5 hrs and the delegates are expected to have completed the online Risk Assessment and Chemical Assessment and Laboratory Awareness courses before attending.
