Course Overview - Fork Lift Truck (Refresher)

Title of course Fork Lift Truck (refresher)
Length 1 day
Brief Description To refresh job safety knowledge, and give corrective remedial and tests to operators who though previously trained and certificated may require a short safety refresher course, to maintain the correct standards of operation at an acceptable level. This course may also be given as a one day conversion or familiarisation course, in cases where formally trained operators may be required to convert from one machine type to another, or where control familiarisation may be required for a new machine or attachment.
Who is it for? Ideal for those who have in the past completed the full training course but have not used a fork lift truck for a while and/or where the operator lacks in confidence or where a previously trained operator needs to be trained to understand how to operate safely a different type of fork lift truck and/or its attachments.
What will the participant get out of it? Successful delegates will be awarded a Certificate of Training in Basic Practical Skill and Ability. A Comprehensive Course Manual and Safety Code will be issued to each delegate.
Participant preparation needed? Evidence of previous fork lift truck training certification is required prior to booking

Cost? Approx £245/day + £5/person for certification + £15 fuel/mileage Note that the University would need to provide its own fork lift truck for the training; otherwise an additional hire charge will be applied.
