Regular exercise has been established as an important factor in reducing the risk of many physical problems and can also help you combat depression and anxiety. Adults should do a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity five days a week – this can include active hobbies, sports, cycling and daily living (housework and even walking to the supermarket and back with shopping!). The 30mins doesn’t have to be all in one go – it could be made up of three 10 minute bursts throughout the day!
