PraxisAuril Practical Guides

A number of useful and practical guides have been published by PraxisAuril, the educational not-for-profit organisation set up to support innovation and commercialisation of public sector and charity research.

These guides cover a number of issues relating to research commercialisation, including IP protection, confidentiality agreements, IP protection and spin out transactions and can be downloaded free from the PraxisAuril website.

Intellectual Property Office

The UK's Intellectual Property Office is responsible for intellectual property rights in the UK. Its website contains useful information about what sort of IP protection is available and how to ensure your technology or innovation is protected.

The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council has published a page of useful links covering different aspects of intellectual property, knowledge exchange and commercialisation.
