Warwick Ventures reaches finals of EducationInvestor Awards

Warwick Ventures Ltd is a finalist in a national award scheme that aims to promote excellence and recognise innovation across the education sector.

Hosted by EducationInvestor Magazine, the EducationInvestor Awards celebrate excellence in a range of categories, including higher education providers, consultants, investors, and local education partnerships.

Warwick Ventures has been shortlisted in the Higher Education Innovation category, along with Cambridge Enterprise, IP Group, LAUNCH.edEdinburgh Research and Innovation and the University of Glasgow. Last year this category was won by Imperial Innovations.

The 12-strong judging panel for the 2011 awards includes Susan Anderson, director of public services, CBI; Professor Charles Chatterjee, Associate Fellow with the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London, and visiting academic at Warwick Law School; Paul Clark, director of policy, Universities UK; former education secretary Charles Clarke; and Professor Sir Drummond Bone, vice-chancellor of the University of Liverpool.

The results will be announced at a black-tie dinner to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London, on 17 November 2011.
