Working securely: Splitting the email address book

We have split the University email address book so that staff and student names are listed separately. This is especially important if you regularly communicate with a mixture of staff and students. It will make our email communication more secure.

In future, we will all need to consult two address books rather than one.

VPN upgrade, Wed 17th June 2020, between 07:00 and 08:00

On Wednesday 17th June 2020, between 07:00 and 08:00, we are upgrading the VPN service. This is a standard upgrade to the Cisco AnyConnect Client* which includes security enhancements. During the change window, if you attempt to connect to the VPN and it fails, or you are disconnected, please try connecting again. If after a few attempts you are still unable to connect, or you experience any other problems, please feel free to contact the helpdesk:

*Cisco AnyConnect will upgrade from 4.6.04054 to 4.8.03052.
