Update your Origin licence

Licence files currently in use under the University’s Origin site licence will expire on 30 April 2017 and must be updated before then to enable continued use of the software. If you use Origin on an unmanaged or personally-owned computer, please follow these instructions to renew your licence.

If you use Origin on the IT Services Managed Desktop, you do not need to take action – ITS will update this for you.

Update your Stata SE licence

If you're using Stata SE under the University’s site licence, your code will expire on 30 April 2017 and must be updated before then to enable continued use of the software.

Update your Kaspersky anti-virus licence

All University Kaspersky anti-virus site licences will expire on Friday 3 March 2017 and need to be updated before then to keep your computer safe.

Exceed software to be removed from Managed Desktops and site licence cancelled

What is Exceed?

Exceed is PC X-server software that allows access to X- Window applications running on both Unix and Linux systems. It is currently available from the IT Services Managed Windows 7 Desktop and also as a download from ITS for unmanaged machines. The site licence will be cancelled on the 31 January 2017.
