If you have moved department or changed from Undergraduate to Taught Postgraduate, you will normally keep your current University ID, IT account/usercode, mailbox and email address. People moving to or from WBS will get additional email addresses in the appropriate format, but your old email address will continue to work.
If you are a member of staff, your permissions to old departmental shared drives will be removed, and you will be given access to the default shared drives for your new department. You should make arrangements to move any business-critical emails related to your old department to departmental / project resource mailboxes, and transfer any resource mailboxes and email aliases to a member of your old department.
