Privately owned onsite systems support

Who can use this service

If you're a member of the University, we can offer you unlimited onsite system support for your privately owned computer. This is provided via our partners XMA and is available at the competitive rate of £30 for the entire academic year providing you register and make payment within 30 days from start of academic year. After this period the cost will be £45 per visit.

  • Please register using your Warwick email address or personal email address (if you do not yet have an Warwick email address)
  • Once registered you will receive an email
  • Click the link in the email to active your account, log in and purchase

What you get

  • Assistance with common hardware problems e.g. memory, hard disk, screen issues, laptop keyboards*
  • Recovering your computer following a virus attack
  • Reinstalling your operating system from system disks (if you have them)
  • Installing antivirus software
  • Installing licensed software
  • Advice on good PC practice
  • Installing printers and other peripheral devices
  • Configuring operating system settings
  • Getting your computer connected to the network and the Internet
  • Individual assistance, in conjunction with the Senior Tutor's Office, for students with special needs

*The service does not include the cost of any hardware parts required to resolve the fault.

Term time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm

Out of term: Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm
