How can I access the CRM?

Access to the CRM service is currently being managed on a staged departmental basis in line with the CRM project plan. At this stage, access will be granted to individuals within the pilot departments, following receipt of a signed access request form (access may additionally be provided to individuals outside of these departments on a case-by-case, e.g. for senior managers).

All staff within each department will be contacted in due course regarding completion of the access request form. Once you have been provided with the necessary permissions, you will be able to access the system on a variety of devices (e.g. PC, Mac, tablet and smartphone). Within the CRM system, pre-defined security settings will define the areas of the CRM to which each individual user has access. As a general principle, however - and in line with the CRM ethos of openness and shared data - all users will be able to view all information held within the CRM system, with a small number of specified exceptions (e.g. in relation to sensitive personal data or information that is commercial in confidence).

A CRM service board was established earlier this year and is responsible for considering access requests from departments or individuals outside of the pilot project scope.
