Business Process Management currently uses Metastorm BPM (formerly eWork) software from Metastorm, and SWiFT from Business Resource Development, for automation of business processes.

The software was originally bundled with the HR/Payroll software PS Enterprise, which was purchased in 2003. Since that time a site licence has been purchased for each and there has been two major software upgrades, which have moved the University to version 7.6 of BPM and version 7 of SWiFT.

A major hardware upgrade was undertaken at the beginning of 2011.
