Kaspersky Antivirus

All IT Services Managed Windows 7 Desktop computers and Managed Windows 10 Desktop computers have Kaspersky Endpoint Security version 10 installed as part of the image. The Kaspersky software is centrally controlled via a management server which distributes updates on a regular schedule. It also enables IT Services to monitor virus activity on computers.

The following is an example of a virus activity report.

Viruses Detected (1 Jan - 31st Mar 2017)

Items showing as not cured are generally infected files on a computer which is locked. Kaserpsky has not been able to process the files fully. It is also important to note how many computers are actually infected. Whilst the number of viruses detected can be high, often only a few computers are actually infected.
