This module is designed to assist all staff in carrying out their roles within the University and understanding the relevant legislation in this field.

Who is it for?
The module is aimed at all staff in front line or customer-facing roles and all staff who have a leadership or management role. It is also open to all members of staff.

This is a mandatory requirement for Interview Panel Chairs and panel members.
Session Objectives
By the end of the session you will understand:

  • the key legislation in this area

  • how to approach equality issues in the workplace

We recommend that you revisit this module every 3 years to refresh your knowledge.

If you haven’t accessed this particular system before, please register using your email address and create a password meeting all security requirements listed on the page. Upon successful registration you may need to search the catalogue (all items) to select this course.

Please sign off when you have finished. This enables the University to track
completion and plan future additional provision. There is a bookmark facility so that you have the option to return to the same section if required.

This module will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

You do not need to complete this all in one go as the session has the facility for you to complete individual sessions at a time.
