The aim of this programme is to enable new team leaders or supervisors to develop and apply the key skills of leading and managing a team to support the achievement of individual, departmental, CCSG & Estates and University priorities. This programme will equip delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to improve workplace performance and confidence in their role as a leader.
This programme consists of 9 modules, including two 1-day workshops which will cover practical skills such as training the trainer, and making effective presentations. The TLDP Schedule and Programme Objectives attached below provides an outline of each module, and the key dates. This year's programme will be launched in October, and will culminate in June 2018 with a final presentation from each of the delegates.
Each module will be followed by a post-module activity which must be completed and submitted for assessment. Successful completion of this programme will lead to an award endorsed by the Institute of Leadership & Management
