This session presents an overview of a current ESRC funded Network for early career researchers and discusses the issues arising from undertaking interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research.

The session will provide an overview of a current ESRC funded Network for early career researchers on ‘Connected Histories / Connected Sociologies: Rethinking the Global’; the issues arising from undertaking interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research collaborations; the logistical issues in setting up and maintaining a research network.

What will I get out of this?

By the end of the session you will have gained an understanding of some of the intellectual and logistical issues involved in putting together and running an international research network.
