Roberts Funding

This is an informal session will overview the application process for securing Roberts Funding.  Previous winners will discuss what makes a successful application, and how their Roberts-funded experiences have enhanced their knowledge, skills and experiences.

Who is it for?

All research staff and students, especially early career researchers and PhDs from all faculties.

Content

Annunziata will talk about applying for Roberts funding to organise a one-day conference at Warwick called 'Translating Theatre. Migrating Text(s)', and the skills and experience she is acquiring through organising this event.  She will also talk about how she plans to feedback her tips and experience to fellow researchers by hosting a master class on organising conferences. 

Mairi Ann Cullen will talk about applying successfully for Roberts Funding to attend the first national conference of university sector research staff, organised by Vitae.  She will explain what she gained from this and how she provided feedback on what she had learned with colleagues in the Education Researchers' network and the university's Research Staff Forum.

What will I get out of this?

Information on how to successfully apply for Roberts Funding and the sorts of activities that the fund can support.  Understanding the purposes and uses for Roberts Funding.
