Window on Warwick: Hosting National and International Academic Conferences at University of Warwick.

Being successful through a funding application and required to deliver engagement events or attended an academic conference recently and interested in bidding to host the conference on campus? Come ad join our session to hear how we can support you to host an impactful and memorable conference. During the session we will share how we’ve supported your academic peers to host their conferences. We’ll provide you with an overview of the conference spaces, exhibitor/poster areas, catering and accommodation options available but more importantly our increase in administrative support to ease the pressure. We recognise the conference destination is as important as host venue therefore we’ll update you on what our region has to offer our delegates.

Who is it for?

Academics and their clerical staff, administrators.

Session Objectives:
  • Create awareness around the academic departments on our experience in hosting academic conferences – share case studies
  • Update on the best conference facilities across the campus and capacities
  • Update on our service levels and support available to academics and their departments administrators
  • Build a network of interested academics wishing to bring their external conference to Warwick
  • What Coventry & Warwickshire region has to offer as a conference destination
