Window on Warwick: The University Counselling Service - how can staff use it and refer on to it

The session will provide an overview of the range of services offered by the University Counselling Service to both staff and students.

Who is it for?

All Staff

Session Objectives:

It is useful for all staff to have an awareness of the University Counselling Service (UCS), either to refer colleagues or students in to, or to use the services themselves.

By the end of the session you will have:

  • An awareness of the range of services offered by the UCS
  • An understanding of how to access the services
  • Confidence to know when and how to refer a colleague/student in to the UCS
  • An overview of the sorts of emotional/psychological issues worked with by the UCS
