Warwick is committed to internationalisation. This session will explore staff and students' experience of internationalisation at a ‘grassroots level’, and consider how we may enhance it.
|Who is it for?||
All staff (academic and administrative) who are interested in the impact of internationalisation on teaching and support services, and ways of enhancing the experience for everyone.
Internationalisation was identified in Warwick’s TEF submission as one of the institution’s key characteristics. So we need to consider what we are aiming at and how well we are achieving this goal.
The first part of the session will report research by CAL on students ‘global education’ experiences – what they find important and how far they are experiencing it. We also report preliminary findings on teaching staff’s perspectives on these issues.
The second part of the session will introduce tools, resources and short training courses that CAL has developed (and is continuing to develop) to address the challenges that are emerging.
Participants will be encouraged to discuss their own experiences.
