Overview of the Warwick Administrative Management Programme (WAMP)

If you are considering applying for WAMP this year, come along to this session to find out more.

Who is it for?

WAMP is a development opportunity for highly capable administrators, typically at grade six or seven, in academic and non-academic departments and those with managerial responisbilities in support and commercial departments. It may also be appropriate for functional specialists who exercise leadership in their professional area. It is not aimed at academic or research staff.

Individuals should be performing well in their current role and more importantly show potential and the desire to progress to future roles within the University within the next 1-3 years.

This session will explain how WAMP is structured, its aims and benefits and what you will need to commit to make it a success. The session will also provide an opportunity to hear about the programme from the perspective of former programme participants.

What will I get out of this?

By the end of the session you will have a greater appreciation of the Warwick Administrative Management Programme and this will help you make an informed decision on whether this programme is appropriate for your learning and development needs.
