Ideas for Network Activity

LDC has provided funding and advice over a number of years to support the establishment and development of research staff networks across the University.

Funding has been provided across a broad range of activities, including single development events, department networks and multi-disciplinary collaborations.

Warwick Manufacturing Group's Materials Themed Journal Club

Read the case study which aims to explain the drivers to setting up a journal club

Warwick Business School Research Staff Network

This network held monthly lunchtime meetings to encourage collegiality and support for research active staff in the Business school. The meetings included a range of talks on themes such as funding sources and academic writing.

Researching China Network.

This network brought together researchers and postgraduates from across the university who share an interest in China-related research. Read the case study written by Nana Zhang, the network lead (Word Document).

Public Engagement Initiatives

The Public Engagement Network is aimed at abroad community of interest focusing on public engagement activity at Warwick. Further information can be found on the PEN website.
