Resource Description:

This workshop identified the key features of successful journal articles and we discussed how to write 4* research. The session focused on establishing originality, balancing structure with content and identifying your target audience. The workshop also included opportunities for participants to receive feedback on their current article and develop an action plan for moving their writing forwards.

Session Objectives:

The session objectives were to:

  • Understand the key qualities of a 4* article and how it differs from a 3* one.
  • Identify how to build on your existing writing practises to achieve 4* research
  • Provide feedback on an abstract for your next article
  • Help participants ‘take-away’ plan of action for your next article
