WWW: new opportunities for CAL?

The world-wide web (WWW) is opening up many new opportunities in teaching and learning. Not only is it providing access to a global library of information but it is changing the traditional ways in which we can present and use information. In addition to investigating CAL applications, the web offers students the chance to relate information from many sources, enables them to publish their own work and to take part in collaborative learning.
