Effective Large Group Teaching and Lecturing
The focus of this workshop is on presentation skills needed for working effectively with large groups of students. It is a complemenatary workshop to the large and small group teaching workshop
By the end of the session you will have;
- Gained an understanding of the skills and attributes needed for presenting material to large groups of students, including an introduction to voice production, using space well, the power of movement, establishing the student/teacher relationship in a large group setting, and making the most of personal qualities and expressiveness.
- Practised these skills using a variety of short exercises
You are advised to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the practical exercises in this workshop
