Sessional teachers within the pilot departments (Chemistry, CLL, Languages, Maths, PAIS, Philosophy and Sociology) are being given the opportunity to participate in tailored, flexible training as the Teaching Learning Unit within LDC, building on their established training provision. The CPD pilot will include both mandatory training (in Preparing to Teach in HE) to meet teaching quality requirements for the university and departments, and opportunities for further development along with a flexible training approach for participants.
