How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Rethinking Student Support
Collaboration Area, Teaching Grid, Floor 2, Main Library

Anil Awesti, Lauren Elmore, and Elaine Moore (CLL)

This session details and reflects on the rethinking of student support within the Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) as a means of assisting students in their teaching and learning experiences. The CLL Student Support Team is tasked with supporting the Centre’s mature students across four aspects of their learning journeys: study skills; e-learning; wellbeing; student engagement. In doing so, the CLL has taken a holistic approach to student support, recognising the intersections that exist amongst the variety of challenges faced by students. In doing so, the CLL’s experience serves as a case study of institutional practice in supporting Warwick students from non-traditional backgrounds.

Book your place.

Human Library
Teaching Grid, Library Floor 2

The Human Library aims to establish a positive framework and safe space for dialogue between readers and a Human Book. The concept is based on personal conversation rather than a presentation or lecture. It is not just a story, it’s an engagement and interaction, a Q&A from a lived perspective.

The Human Library helps to overcome stigma, combat prejudice, dismantle stereotypes, inform ignorance, clarify misconceptions, debunk myths, end discrimination, and challenge negative attitudes through conversations with Human Books.
