Facilities for Users with Specific Needs

  • Information about parking for registered disabled Blue Badge holders is on the University Security Services website at http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/campus-support/carparks/disabled/ . Our reading room is fully accessible for wheelchair users; it is on the first floor (ground level) with plenty of space. The entrance doors are automatic and toilet facilities are provided.
  • The Centre and University Library are fitted with a deaf alerter for users who have difficulty hearing the fire alarm. We can arrange for you to borrow a pager of you do not have one of your own. The pager vibrates if the closing bell or the fire alarms ring. It then shows a message asking you to leave the building. Please notify staff in advance of your visit if you wish to borrow a pager.
  • We can arrange for the use of a separate room if you need a place to use specialist equipment or be read to in the Centre. Please notify us in advance if you wish to use this facility.
  • We have a computer with a large screen and a modified keyboard.
  • We have a magnifying glass for reading room use.
