Content:

We are all incredibly busy and have the daily stresses of work and deadlines to contend with, as well as our personal lives. These pressures among others can sometimes cause us to forget that we're not just dealing with deadlines, but with people. Within all of this pressure, how do we ensure that everyone is treated in a way that respects their dignity? What do we even mean by dignity? How is it relevant to what we do here?

This session aims to provide an opportunity to explore the importance of respect and dignity in our everyday lives. Participants will explore what dignity means, how (at times) dignity can be violated, and also the potential consequences of this.

Is there anything else I need to know?

Discussions of dignity can often cause us to reflect on difficult situations which may cause an emotional response. It is important to be aware that some of the discussion topics that may arise could be of a sensitive nature.
