Course Overview Accessing the module

This course forms the second part of the 'Introduction to Recruitment and Selection' course for Recruiting Managers at Warwick who have a leadership role within recruitment and selection, and all stages of the recruitment process.

Who is it for?

This course is essential for Recruiting Managers only.

Session Objectives

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Name the key stages of the recruitment process and which parts you are responsible for
  • Understand how to develop job descriptions, person specifications, adverts, choose advertisement methods, shortlist, devise interview questions, make a job offer and conduct pre-employment screening

We recommend that you revisit this course every three years to refresh your knowledge as a Recruiting Manager.

It is available for self-enrolment on Moodle by selecting ‘the role of the Recruiting Manager’.

The course should take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete, but you can exit the course at any point and resume at your convenience.

Please note: the course includes a quiz at the end, which must be completed with a mark of 80% for successful completion.
