Implementing Change

Aim of the event:

To provide a practical approach and tools to implementing change activities that are within your scope of control or require influencing skills to deliver the required outcomes of the change.

If you have any questions, please email lmd@warwick.ac.uk

What will I learn:

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • Identify what is within your control and influence with regards to the change project.
  • Identify different stages of the change process and use a toolkit to manage each stage.
  • Understand emotional reactions to change.
  • Understand why people resist change and use strategies to overcome resistance.

Is it right for me?

This workshop is relevant to managers and supervisors who have a responsibility to role model a positive attitude toward change, and demonstrate a willingness to engage with wider change initiatives and embed those changes in their team.

You may also find it builds on the knowledge, skills and behaviours explored within our Warwick Management Development Programme.

Less useful if...

You do not have a current or imminent change activity that you are able to apply the techniques and tools used in the workshop towards.
