Aims of programme

  • Provides a basic concept of what a manager does, how to effectively manage workload and tasks and how to be an effective manager.
  • This session looks to build learner’s confidence over their future decision to transition to a manager role.

You will benefit from the Preparing to Manage course if:

  • You are a staff member aspiring to be a people leader or supervisor or f
  • You are someone who has started to undertake some line management tasks on a limited, temporary basis.

Less useful if...

  • You are already a line manager/supervisor.
