Testimonials

"The programme has improved my confidence and knowledge with line managing"- Mikayla Marriott-Smith, CCMO Group

"The insights were very useful, the chance to try out coaching and experience being coached was great. Alongside that all the information about the importance of establishing your team's purpose"- Em Ward, Information & Digital Group

What will I learn?

There are four sessions to attend, which will cover:

  1. Insights Discovery: understanding yourself and others, recognising, adapting and connecting to better connect with others, application of this awareness in different types of conversations that managers might need to have.
  2. Strategic approaches: the manager’s responsibilities, defining the team’s purpose and its organisational and strategic connection and position, managing localised change.
  3. Managing the team: identifying and practising coaching skills; considering the team culture you want to create and be part of; how to create, apply and improve local policies and processes; optimising the team for future demands; managing restraining and enabling factors.
  4. Enabling performance and development for individuals: managing the full range of performance, developing others, motivating others, giving impactful feedback.
