Overview:

Session 1 will enable participants to reflect upon their experiences as a doctoral student and begin to articulate their vision for their development as a researcher. They will develop an understanding of the broad range of development activities at the University of Warwick to support personal and professional development to enable them to plan for their desired research trajectory.

What are the intended learning outcomes for this session?

• Reflect on, and articulate, a research trajectory
• Describe the aims of the researcher concordat, and the accompanying Researcher Development Framework

• Access, and explore key policies and procedures relating to research integrity and governance
• Explain the range of services and development opportunities available to ESRs (Early-stage researchers) at the University
