UWSO India Tour 2009

In November 2009 the University of Warwick Symphony Orchestra were invited to take a chamber orchestra to Delhi, India to perform at one of the wedding receptions of a wealthy businessman. The theme of the reception was "Little Venice" and a set had been built including venitian style building fronts, a replica of the Bridge of Sighs and a 300ft long canal complete with Gondola and singing Gondolier! Below are some extracts from some of the music the orchestra played. The orchestra were asked to perform a selection of classical music as well as Bollywood and well known Indian music which Paul arranged to fit the ensemble.
