UWSO Monte Carlo 2011

On March 21st 2011 Kajal Fabiani and Gaurav Assomul, Mumbai socialites, were married in an elaborate three day celebration in Monte Carlo. You can read more about the wedding here, hailed by the Monaco tourism board as “The largest destination wedding Monaco has ever seen”. The University of Warwick Symphony Orchestra (Chamber Orchestra) were invited to perform three sets at the evening reception, which was to be followed by internationally renowned R&B singer Akon in the glamourous Sporting Club, Monte Carlo. Here are some videos and images from the event, attended by over 600 guests.

The music consisted of well known Indian Bollywood music, arranged by Director of Music, Paul McGrath for a classical orchestra, as well as some other western classical works.
