Our mission

ADC works with the Warwick academic community to create transformative and sector leading higher education. We offer AdvanceHE accredited courses, leading to HEA Fellowship, and provide regular CPD for teaching staff. We oversee the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence and provide direction to colleagues nominated for a National Teaching Fellowship. We organise and curate high quality conferences that explore teaching and learning in HE. Based on our ongoing research and expertise, we provide extensive support and advice to staff on all matters related to teaching and learning. We also collaborate with other cross-faculty departments, such as IATL and WIHEA, and lead on vital pedagogic initiatives such as the LDCU.
