Leadership model

The feedback questionnaire and report is structured around a simple model of leadership which suggests that effective leadership requires capability in six areas. To be effective, a leader needs to:

  • have a vision of how they want things to be different
  • bring other people with them in pursuing this vision
  • make and monitor plans to turn their vision into reality
  • manage themself so that they act decisively and focus on priorities
  • influence more widely to build support for their aims
  • have the drive, energy and resilience to persevere despite setbacks
