Minute Writing in the Warwick Style (Advanced Level)

Who is it for?
Colleagues who are a Secretary or Assistant Secretary to a formal University Committee and have significant previous experience of committee-servicing.

Session Objectives

Participants will gain an understanding of the University’s new framework for producing agendas, minutes and committee paperwork.

Content

  • Warwick’s ‘old-style’ vs ‘new-style’
  • New-style agenda, minutes, papers: syntax, formatting, communicating outcomes
  • Committee reporting
  • Approval and storage of minutes

Whilst there isn't any pre-work for this workshop, participants are welcome to familiarise themselves with the Institutional Governance webpages.
