A limited amount of short-term accommodation is available in International House for students, staff members and academic visitors to the University.

International House Rooms

Each International House room is part of a twin flat with one other guest room, which is located in International House, part of Rootes Residences, a first year residence.The flat consists of two independent, lockable bedrooms which share a kitchen and bathroom and that also share a main front door into the greater residence. Each guest room is a twin room with two single beds. Wireless internet connection is available in this room. Television is also provided. Dishes, pots, cutlery, cups etc are provided in the kitchen also. The University operates a no smoking policy in all it’s accommodation including the guest bedrooms.


The University does not accept bookings from persons under eighteen years of age.

Accommodation will be allocated on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.

University residential and disciplinary Regulations apply for the duration of your stay and include responsibility for University property in your bedroom and public areas. Overnight visitors are not permitted to stay in your room. Please read the regulations by clicking on the appropriate link below:

Please make sure that you close your window and lock your door when you are away from your bedroom.

You may be required to move rooms during your stay.

The University disclaims all responsibility for loss or damage to personal effects.

Application process
  • Information
    All of the information you will need is available on this website.
    Please read the information on this page before submitting your application form
  • Application form
    Submit your completed accommodation application form to Warwick Accommodation. You will be sent an email from Warwick Accommodation confirming availability and details of how to pay for your room prior to your arrival.
    All Bookings must be for a minimum stay of 5 nights.
  • Cancellations & Amendments

    Should you wish to cancel or amend your booking the following charges will apply :

    14 days or more notice of change given 100% of monies will be refunded. 
    8 - 13 days notice of change given 50% of monies will be refunded.
    0 - 7 days notice of change given 0% of monies will be refunded.

    Please email in both cases.
  • Arrival
    You can collect your bedroom key from reception, Warwick Accommodation, Student Reception, Ground Floor Senate House, during the hours of :

    Monday - Friday 8am-8pm

    Saturday - Sunday 10am-6pm

  • Departure
    Please vacate your bedroom and return your key to Warwick Accommodation, Student Reception located in Senate House by 10.00 am on the day of your departure. If you are still in your bedroom after 10.00 am you will be charged rent for that day.
