To ensure that there are no double bookings of the Grad Deck and that Student Support are aware of any support or security implications of use of the space, booking requests should be made via the booking request form. All requests to book the space via this form will then be confirmed via email.
The criteria for booking the space will be prioritised on the following basis:
- Postgraduate students resident on the University Campus
- Non resident Postgraduate students wishing to host an informal social occasion
- Staff who are running non-academic social activities for postgraduate students
- Wardens wishing to run Residential Life Team led approved social activities for their resident students
From 9.00am until 6.00pm Monday - Friday the space will NOT be available due to the nursery using the area. From 6.00pm until midnight, the space is available for larger groups (up to 40 persons) to meet and socialise with the option to use the self catering facilities which are available in the space.
Due to the need for the space to be available for ad hoc bookings, we will not normally accept block bookings for regular events.
Barbecues are not permitted in the Grad Deck or the surrounding area.
