More about Ros: She has held a wide range of HE roles in areas such as student recruitment and admissions, governance and organisational resilience, departmental administration and the University Executive Office. Ros has a broad range of experience across the spectrum of the University’s activities and her key skills include: strategic planning and programme delivery; partnership development; institutional governance; organisational resilience; and adaptive leadership in complex organisations. Ros has a strong and long-standing commitment to equality and diversity, and chairs the University’s E&D Network. |

More about Sian: Sian started work at the University in September 2012 working as the Monash-Warwick Alliance Assistant within the International Office and also Secretary to Registrar’s Office up until March 2013. From April 2013 Sian worked as Secretary to the Deputy Registrar’s Office providing high quality administrative support to the office and Secretarial support to the Head of Campus Security and his Team, as well as the University Legal Advisor. |

More about Jesper: Jesper joined the University of Warwick in 2018 as a management trainee on the Ambitious Futures Graduate Scheme, a programme that saw him complete three 6 month placements in various professional services departments. He began the scheme in the Welcome and Internationalisation team where he redeveloped Warwick in Venice’s website and led 98 international students to Edinburgh for Warwick’s first student coach trip outside of England. He then spent 6 months at the University of the Arts London developing e-learning video tutorials for digital accessibility before returning to Warwick for his third and final placement in Strategic Programme Delivery. Now as a graduate of the scheme, Jesper has continued in SPD as a Project Officer working on the STEM Grand Challenge. Couple of fun facts: Jesper’s half Danish, has an identical twin brother and spent a year at the University of Queensland as part of his undergraduate studies at the University of Birmingham. |

More about Michelle: Michelle joined SPD in September 2019, initially as part of the Ambitious Futures Graduate Management scheme, which she completed in February 2020. Previous roles within the university include Senior Personal Assistant to the PVC (research) and Research Unit Co-ordinator at Warwick Medical School. Michelle graduated from the University of Warwick in 2012 after completing a part-time BA Hons in English and Cultural Studies; and from The Open University in 2018 on completing a Masters in English Literature. To feed her passion for lifelong learning, she enrolled on a part-time BA in Social Studies in October 2019. Michelle recently gained her Emerging Leadership and Management Programme certificate as part of Ambitious Futures and has secured a role as a Project Officer in the SPD Continuous Improvement team. When she is not working or studying Michelle enjoys creative writing and has won or been placed in various writing competitions. |

More about David: Dave joined the SPD team as the Lead for the Univeristy's Continuous Improvement activities in 2018. Dave spent the 4 years before joining Warwick working on organisational change and transformation programmes at Birmingham Royal Ballet and in Midlands Probation Services. During these roles Dave had responsibility for a range of areas including Programme Management, Service Redesign, Continuous Improvement and Change Management. Prior to these roles Dave was an Regional Operations Manager for a large national provider of Employability Services responsible for the performance of multiple delivery teams across The Midlands and Scotland. Dave has an interest in leadership development and in previous roles was a lead coach in a coaching for leadership programme and delivered a mentoring for managers programme. Dave has also done work with Senior Leadership Teams on managing change and effecting culture change. Dave is a practioner of MSP and Prince2 and has an executive coaching diploma. |

More about Rachel: Rachel joined SPD in May 2020. Prior to this she spent 8 months on secondment as a Senior Advisor in the Civil Service, first within the Department for Exiting the EU and then within the Department for Education. Before her secondment, Rachel spent 14 months as Head of Government Affairs at the University. Before joining Warwick in June 2018, Rachel worked for 15 years as an economist, gaining expertise in policy, economic and regulatory analysis and advice, and strategy development. This was gained through roles in the private, public and third sectors and through 3 years running her own company. She has experience in a number of sectors including education, health and social care, social housing, transport and telecommunications. Rachel holds a PhD in economics from Cambridge University and a BSc and MSc in economics from Warwick University. In her spare time, Rachel has a passion for voluntary work. Since 2015 she’s been a Non-Executive Director of Coventry Cyrenians, the largest provider of supported accommodation for homeless adults in Coventry. She was also previously a listening volunteer with the Samaritans for over five years and has regularly volunteered at Myton Hospice |

More about Holly: Holly began working at the University of Warwick in 2019. As a management trainee on the Ambitious Futures Graduate Scheme, Holly first joined Warwick’s Strategy Group where she supported the development of the University’s professional services reform programme. She then spent 6 months with the HR Specialist Services team at the University of Nottingham, delivering on a range of equality, diversity and inclusion projects, with a specific focus on disability. Holly joined SPD in September 2020 for her final management placement, working in the business continuity programme. Holly holds a BA in History and English from the University of Oxford and an MA in Renaissance Studies from the University of Warwick. . |

More about Chris: Chris joined the SPD Team in 2018. Prior to this, Chris managed Warwick’s inaugural Welcome Week and the Student Internationalisation Team in the International Student Office. Previously he was a higher education management consultant with PA Consulting, working on and managing change programmes at eleven UK universities. Chris is a Warwick graduate and studied History and Politics before becoming a Sabbatical Officer in the Students’ Union. He then worked in several departments of the University: Student Recruitment, Education Studies and Professional Education (during transition from the old Institute of Education), Student Careers and Skills, and the Engagement Group. |

More about Laura: Laura joined the University of Warwick in 2018 as a Management Trainee on the Ambitious Futures Graduate Scheme. Laura began the programme working in the Strategy Group alongside Head of Government Affairs; supporting the development of a new Policy Function and other activities including organising a three-day, University-wide ‘HE Immersion Programme’ for the Department for Education. She spent her next 6 months working in the Talent and Development team at the Open University; coordinating a series of engagement activities surrounding the roll-out of a new Management programme. On her return to Warwick, Laura’s final placement of the scheme was based in Warwick International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) where she developed the architecture for a new web portal for Teaching staff at Warwick, and supported the Academy in their other events and activities. Now as a graduate of the scheme, Laura has joined SPD as a Projects Officer. |

More about Jill: Since joining the team, her projects have included the development of a Holiday Scheme for the children of staff and students, work on policy and procedures associated with the Disclosure and Barring Service, providing support on institutional change projects, and the HEFCE funded LEGACY research project into Learning Gain. She project managed the Institutional Teaching and Learning Review (ITLR) in 2017 and worked on the development of the University's Education Strategy. Jill is currently working on the STEM Grand Challenge in a job share partnership with Eliza Gaffney. |
