Events & workshops

We offer self-paced learning activities, live webinars and sessions on campus; you can use all of these to complete the Warwick Skills Portfolio Award. We believe that you are best placed to choose the learning methods you prefer as you develop your skills; take charge of your development! You will find a list of upcoming live sessions on the right, or you can explore our online learning materials on our Warwick Core Skills and Academic and Study Skills Moodle spaces.

Most of our activities are open to undergraduate and masters students; the Doctoral College offers development opportunities for PGR students. You can also browse activities by level.

We might sometimes also be able to arrange bespoke delivery of the Student Development’ workshops listed here for groups of students (either organised by students themselves or their departments). If you have a group of at least 8 students who commit to attend a workshop, please fill our Bespoke Skills Workshops form.

You will receive the slides after you have attended a session. If you require them beforehand for accessibility reasons please email

Please arrive on time as a sign of respect to your fellow attendees and the workshop tutor.

At the tutor’s discretion, students who arrive more than five minutes late may be directed to sign up to a future activity.

Many of the listed activities can be used towards the Warwick Skills Portfolio Award.
