30 September to 4 October 2019 or 21 to 25 October 2019
This course will help you:
- To understand what is meant by critical thinking
- To consider models and strategies to help you to develop a critical thinking mindset and toolkit
- To practice critical thinking skills by completing some activities.
We expect the course will take you around 2 hours to complete. You will be expected to log in every day for 5 days (Monday to Friday) to look at some content and complete an online activity. This is a semi-synchronous course, which you will be completing at the same time as others. In average, you should spend around 20 minutes per day on the course; you can do this at any time between midday and midnight. A coach will then mark your activities the next day, so you will receive feedback about your work.
We also offer 2-hour long face-to-face Critical Thinking workshops. These have similar learning objectives but different content, so you can take the online and/or face to face versions.
