Revising and editing your dissertation

Well-crafted writing goes through multiple versions and revisions. In this session we’ll cover different techniques for revising and editing your written work. Please bring up to two pages of your dissertation draft to rewrite. You may wish to print them out for ease of editing.

This workshop is most suitable for people who have a fairly complete first draft of their dissertation and want to work on improving it and tightening up the prose. If you are at an earlier stage of writing we’d recommend looking at one of our other workshops instead.
