Writing with Clarity

Do you struggle to convey your ideas clearly? Do you constantly go over the word limit? This session is for you!

We’ll discuss what contributes to concise writing, and rewrite rough drafts to improve their clarity, structure, and flow. Please bring 1-2 paragraphs of your dissertation draft to work on in the session- you may find it easier to edit them if they are printed out.

If you’ve not yet produced any writing for your dissertation this workshop won’t be as useful; please look at one of the other Destination: Dissertation sessions instead.

Please book your chosen date below.

Please note: due to room availability over the summer we have very limited capacity for these sessions. Please book early to avoid disappointment. If you can no longer attend please cancel your session online so that we can offer your place to someone else on the waiting list.

Places may occasionally be available on the day of the workshops. You are welcome check with the tutor at the workshop if there is space. Please note that we cannot guarantee you a place if you chose to do this, and that the tutor’s decision is final.
