Alex Cotton

Alex Cotton, Honorary DSc, MBE, Mental Health Nurse for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS trust. Recognised for her work as the driving force behind the successful ‘It Takes Balls to Talk’ campaign, which targets men at sports events in Coventry and Warwickshire. She was made a Member of the British Empire (services to mental health, 2018); and awarded the Coventry Mental Health Star award, in the West Midlands Mental Health Commission Thrive Awards - both in significant part for her work as the driving force behind the successful and innovative ‘It Takes Balls to Talk’ campaign, which targets men at sports events in Coventry and Warwickshire.
