This workshop focuses on ways of effectively developing the key academic skills of reading and note-making and is suitable for all research students who would like to be able to increase their reading speed, read with more understanding, and make notes more effectively.
By the end of the workshop you will have:
- learned about a range of paper-based and digital tools and techniques for note-making
- learned techniques for increasing your reading speed
- identified techniques for organising & storing your notes
- practised techniques for reading and making notes more efficiently.
